The Underrepresented Voices oral history project at Emory sought interviews with students who represent members of populations that are not historically documented in institutional archives. The project began interviewing first-generation college students and later expanded to include Black, Latinx, and LGBT+ students. Underrepresented Voices was the first project of the Emory Oral History Program launched in 2017.
